| One of the most persistent and aggravating questions about Brimstone's brief run on television has been: In what order did they PRODUCE the episodes? If you go strictly y the air dates, the ongoing plotlines don't make a lot of sense, and it soon becomes obvious they were shown out of order. Well, that's about par for the course with Fox TV. However, if you watch the closing credits carefully, you will see that each episode has its unique "production number." While I don't know for sure, this is probably some master registry for all TV shows filmed during a given season. With the exception of the Pilot itself, the episodes have consecutive production numbers, presumably relecting the order in which they were filmed. You'll find guides to all 13 episodes listed below. The first is by order of air date; the second is by production number. Additionally, someone going by the moniker of Dark Angel (No , probably NOT Jessica Alba) compiled his or her own order of episodes based on storylines, dialogue references, etc. This site also contains a description and review of each episode, so I won't do that here. Its order is very similar, though not quite identical, to the order by production number. At the time Brimstone was cancelled, there were six additional scripts already in various stages of development, though none had actually yet been filmed. Titles & descriptions of those "lost" episodes are available here. Wolverine has come up with a "virtual" second season, should the powers that be ever decide to resume production. This site also has excerpts of some poetry which appeared in several episodes. Another site (newly revised) with several virtual seasons has been put together by a number of writers. The Brimstone Zone has quite a bit of good information about the show. It's part of a larger fan site devoted to John "The Devil" Glover. Elsewhere on that site you can find Glover's filmography, as well as info on his theatrical and TV appearances. Finally, there is a Brimstone page on www.tktv.net that contains in-depth information on each episode, including guest stars and song titles. I'll list some of most asked about songs here: 1) From the ending scene of Mourning After: "Walking Away," by the Ben Swift Band. 2) From It's a Helluva Life: Monica Pasqual's "I Don't Have You" plays during Stone's wedding; Annie Lennox's "Why" plays at the end. 3) From the beginning of Encore: "Always Something There to Remind Me," by Naked Eyes. |
